Overview

Neuro Physical Therapist Assistant - Colorado Springs Neurological Associates

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $50k-75k / yr. commensurate with experience

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Schedule is flexible and may vary based on clinic needs.

Work setting : Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic

Location : 5725 Mark Dabling Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80919

Responsibilities

You'll Achieve Success By :

  • Assisting in evaluating clients' daily living skills and capacities to determine the extent of abilities and limitations
  • Assisting patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and activities of daily living
  • Observing patients during treatments and reporting observations to the Physical Therapist
  • Communicating with staff and other healthcare team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for treatment planning and modifications

    • Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required
  • Experience with neurology dx to include stroke, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, dysautonomia, and head injury. Migraine, cervical disorders and vestibular experience preferred.
  • Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice in CO
  • CPR and first aid certification required
  • Recent graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply
