Job Description
ResponsibilitiesWekiva Springs Center, a Psychiatric Hospital located in Jacksonville Florida, has an immediate opening for a Per Diem ARNP. A Master’s degree in nursing and an active NP License in Florida is a must. Serious candidates must have knowledge of psychopharmacology and a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with psychiatric or mental health adult patients.
Oversees the quality of care delivered to assigned patients (caseload of -) with supervising psychiatrist. Performs psychiatric assessments for individuals under his/her care. Completes documentation necessary to address patients hospitalized under civil commitment statutes. Provides individual therapy, family therapy, and/or medication management as needed for patients. Appropriately requests consultation when indicated. Provides psychiatric consultation when requested. The NP must be available to work on call and weekends.
