Description
Position : Forklift Operator First Tactical
Reports To : Inbound Manager
FLSA Status : Full-Time, Non-Exempt
SUMMARY : This role is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, stack, and organize products and materials throughout the warehouse. The Forklift Operator plays a key role in receiving, storing, and shipping inventory while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to safely load, unload, move, and stack products
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to maximize space and efficiency
- Accurately follow work orders and instructions for storage or delivery
- Use RF scanners and inventory systems to track product movement and stock levels
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and other inventory control activities
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
