As a Security Officer - Aero / Defense Unarmed Patrol in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $19.40 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Follow all site-specific procedures and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as needed within the aerospace and defense environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
