Description
YMCA Camp Casey is seeking an upbeat, energetic, and positive youth dance instructor to lead dance classes for preschool through 5th grade, with the potential to also offer a beginner adult class as well. An ability to teach different styles of dance strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate can confidently lead age-appropriate dance classes, offering 1-2 classes, twice a week, and participate in an annual parent showcase. This is a brand-new program launching with no current enrollment, but there is strong opportunity for growth if the program is successful.
Position Summary :
Instruct group classes; provide quality service to our diverse participants in a safe, enjoyable, positive and culturally appropriate environment that promotes wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies, practices and procedures.
