Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections. Patients undergoing cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries. Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program. High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases. Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe and compassionate care. Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal outcomes. Contribute positively to the patient experience across the continuum of care. Be part of a supportive team culture that promotes connection through team-building activities and community outreach. Thrive in an environment that encourages teamwork, continuous learning, and patient-centered care. Assess patient needs and collaboratively plan and implement care. Recognize changes in patient status and adjust care plans accordingly. Promote patient safety and readiness to learn. Actively participate in discharge planning utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. Engage in quality improvement initiatives for better patient outcomes. Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Completion of an accredited nursing program. Typically requires at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Demonstrated ability to provide holistic patient care. Proficient in critical decision-making and communication. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Effective time management and multitasking ability. Knowledge of patient safety procedures and standards. Must be able to perform various physical activities including lifting, standing, and walking throughout the workday. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing transfers safely. May be exposed to hazardous materials and will require protective gear.
