Job Summary

We are seeking a Tow Truck Driver to join our team! As a Tow Truck Driver on our team, you will be responding to calls from stranded motorists in the area and providing emergency roadside assistance, accident recovery, and recovering abandoned vehicles. You will also be maintaining excellent documentation of each call, providing basic invoicing to clients, and accepting payments in the field as needed. The ideal candidate has experience with roadside assistance or basic vehicle repair, has driven a tow truck before, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to roadside emergencies within a designated area

Professionally and accurately assist the client by doing minor repairs, or recovering the vehicle and bringing it to a designated location

Maintain the tow truck and all of your equipment to ensure a safe working environment

Maintain excellent records of calls responded to

Write and present invoices to clients in the field and accept payment as needed

Qualifications

Must hold the proper license to operate a tow truck in the state

Has a clean driving record and can exhibit safe driving skills

Experience with basic roadside assistance, such as changing a tire

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Immediate Openings

Flatbed and Wheel Lift Experience preferred

2 locations (North Hollywood and Glendale)

Weekdays and rotating weekends

Maintain safe operation and clean appearance/personal hygiene.

Comply with operational policies, procedures and standards, obey state and local driving rules and regulations.

Complete invoices, logs sheets and other forms daily.

Must be 23 years or over.

Must have clean driving record.

Bilingual is a plus

Must pass live scan

Must be able to work 10 hour shifts in all weather conditions.

Must be able to lift a minimum if 45-50 lbs.

Must have exceptional work ethic.
