B2B Sales Representative Commercial Kennel Equipment

Stone Mountain Pet Products (a division of Larson Systems Inc.) designs and manufactures commercial kennels, doggy daycare playground equipment, cat condos, room dividers, and other durable solutions for the animal boarding and pet care industry. Our customers are boarding / daycare facilities, veterinarians, and other pet care businesses across the country.
Were looking for a B2B Sales Representative to help facility owners (and their architects / contractors) select and configure the right equipment for their space. This is an on-site role reporting to the Sales Manager.
What youll do
- Consult with facility owners and managers at boarding / daycare centers, veterinary clinics, shelters, and other pet businesses about kennel systems, cat condos, playground equipment, and related products.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and construction professionals to understand project specs, timelines, and space constraints.
- Review blueprints, floor plans, and room layouts and recommend the right configuration and layout for each facility (core part of the job).
- Prospect for new opportunities (new builds, expansions, ownership changes) through outbound calling, email, and research.
- Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes, moving opportunities from initial inquiry through order.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads from the website, email, and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain an organized sales pipelineincluding notes, follow-ups, and project milestones.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and manufacturing when customers need customized or non-standard solutions.
- Attend approximately 24 industry trade shows per year
What you bring
3+ years of sales experience in a B2B role (inside sales, account management, project or equipment sales, etc.).Ability to read and work from blueprints, floor plans, or room layoutsExperience with regular outbound prospecting (phone and email), not just handling inbound leads.Clear, professional verbal and written communication.Ability to learn technical product details and explain them in plain language.Strong organizational skills and comfort using a CRM to track opportunities and next steps.Bonus points
Experience selling to pet care facilities (boarding / daycare, veterinary, grooming, shelters) or other facility-based businesses.Background in construction, architectural products, commercial equipment, or capital projects.Familiarity with reviewing specs, RFQs, and project documents.Compensation & Benefits
