Business Intelligence Analyst – SQL & Dashboard Development

Overview

We’re seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with strong SQL and data visualization skills to help turn raw information into strategic insights that move the business forward.

This position is based in our Weston, FL office and requires in-person collaboration five days a week.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our analytics team, you’ll:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand performance goals and define data needs.

• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries across multiple systems to ensure reliable analysis.

• Design and deliver interactive dashboards and visual reports using Sisense, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Validate data accuracy and integrity across all reports and systems.

• Continuously improve existing reports to meet evolving business and customer needs.

• Collaborate with engineers to refine data pipelines, optimize models, and enhance system efficiency.

• Document logic, data sources, and key definitions to maintain transparency.

• Build and maintain a data dictionary to align teams on consistent terminology and KPIs.

• Perform ad-hoc analyses to uncover trends, create metrics, and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

• Proven expertise in SQL (joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions).

• Practical experience in Sisense preferred; strong skills in Power BI or Tableau accepted.

• Knowledge of data visualization principles and dashboard usability design.

• Familiarity with cube-based or comparable analytical data structures.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Applied Statistics.

• Experience in ETL, data modeling, or data warehouse environments.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or BigQuery.

• Scripting skills in Python or R for analysis or automation.

• Experience creating and monitoring KPIs and performance dashboards.

• Knowledge of data governance and documentation standards.
