Territory Sales Manager (Sporting Goods Industry)

Base pay range : $70,000 - $80,000 per year.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Outside Sales Manager to join our North America Sales team. This person will drive sales growth and manage key client relationships within the sporting goods industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve targets and expand customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Attend industry-specific trade shows to network and develop leads.
  • Provide superior customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Understand supply and demand dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and resolve issues.
  • Assess marketing techniques and effectiveness in affecting sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on current market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven 3+ years in sales management, preferably in sporting goods.
  • Experience managing the complete sales process.
  • Track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in sales reporting, tracking, and meeting quotas.
  • Strong understanding of sporting goods industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel for trade shows and client meetings.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
