Their primary responsibility is to ensure that financial systems and processes are aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements. Here's a breakdown of their key responsibilities: Core Responsibilities of an Accounting BSA 1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis o Work with accounting and finance teams to understand business needs. o Translate those needs into technical requirements for system enhancements or new implementations. 2. System Implementation & Support o Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of accounting systems (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Workday). o Ensure systems support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. 3. Process Improvement o Identify inefficiencies in current accounting workflows. o Recommend and implement system-based solutions to streamline processes. 4. Data Integrity & Reporting o Ensure financial data is accurately captured and reported. o Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and analytics for decision-making. 5. Compliance & Controls o Ensure systems adhere to internal controls and external regulations (e.g., SOX, GAAP). o Collaborate with auditors and compliance teams during reviews. 6. Cross-functional Collaboration o Act as a liaison between accounting, IT, and other business units. o Facilitate communication to ensure system changes meet all stakeholder needs. 7. Training & Documentation o Provide training to end-users on new systems or features. o Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and system changes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Salary Range- $85,000-$105,000 a year
