Job Description
Boeing Data Aviation Solutions is currently looking for a Software Application Developers with Emphasis in Test Automation in the Englewood, CO area that will work on a foundational web service solution that enables tailoring of charting information used by commercial airline customers. The work will involve scripted test automation work for Java front end and back end technologies for solutions hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud.
A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Senior project leaders to implement features and capabilities under Agile SAFe methodologies to meet project milestones and business objectives and commitments.

Essential Duties:

• -Develops automated test procedures and scripts, and configuration framework definitions, needed to perform the tests with accordance of the test plan. Skilled in Test Automation, Quality Management, Test Planning, Regression Testing and Business Intelligence. Participates in internal peer reviews and walkthroughs.
  • Develops/decomposes, documents and maintains designs for software implementation and test artifacts consistent with the defined architecture and requirements/regulations by applying established methods and practices. Participates in internal lifecycle data reviews. Excellent reporting, time management, analytical & communication capabilities
  • With general direction, provides data, recommendations, and estimates for software component level project planning. Coordinates and participates in project management reviews and compliance audits.
• -Troubleshoots and investigates difficult problems across software components. Evaluates proposed solutions to problems.
  • For all phases of the software life cycle contributes as directed towards: develops, selects, tailors and deploys processes and tools; establishes metrics; and utilizes regulations and industry standards. Participates in process reviews.
  • With general direction, provides guidance to less experienced employees, performs research, contributes to proposals, documents research and development results and aids technology transfer into programs.
  • As directed and able, provides subject matter expertise on software techniques, methodologies and processes to customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel. Provides guidance to less experienced engineers. Supports operational and integration issue resolution of regulatory, domain and specific software systems.
• The Software Engineer with Test Automation emphasis designs, develops, executes and maintains software test for software products.
