Summary

BGT's Estimator will complete interior finish estimates for multi-family new construction projects and work with the estimating team to ensure project priorities and workflow support company growth. This position is responsible for the delivery of high-quality estimates within the acceptable turn-around time, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. He / She will work closely with the Lead Estimator to provide support to the team in completing tasks efficiently and accurately while ensuring that client service expectations are met or exceeded.

Duties and responsibilities

• Works with estimating team to provide quantity take-offs and estimating services.
• Responsible for the delivery of detailed estimates with acceptable turn-around time, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Reviews drawings, specifications, and project conditions to create Take-Offs for materials and labor.
• Communicate with vendors for pricing on specified products, as well as our internal Production Team for accurate labor costs.
• Submit RFI's to the client when needed to ensure accuracy on BGT's bids.
• Work closely with the Lead Estimator and Sales Department to complete bids efficiently and accurately, while ensuring that client service expectations are met or exceeded.
• Ensures project priorities and workflow support company growth.
