This position will be based onsite in California. / ppPosition Responsibilities and Duties : / pulliAble to perform all Project Managers responsibilities (refer to position descriptions) / liliManage multiple or large, complex projects / liliEstimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP / Lump Sum) / liliNegotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases / liliSet up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery / liliKeep project on schedule / liliDevelop and maintain good relationship with Owner, Architect and Subcontractors / liliWork with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures / liliMaintain timely and accurate reporting to management / liliManage, train, and supervise project team according to Company policy / liliOrganize regular meetings for management and subcontractors / liliReview contract conditions; ensure compliance with all contract terms / liliSupervise documentation of all significant project events, e.g., accidents, delays, Change Orders / liliDirect preconstruction services and activities / liliNegotiate, prepare and issue subcontract bid packages / liliAssist with business development and participate in job interviews / liliMaintain quality control (integrity and excellence of completed project) / liliSupport estimating staff (bid item specialist) / liliAvoid or mitigate claims and conflict / liliComplete all job close-out procedures / liliConduct warranty follow-up (1-year warranty walks) / liliComplete project with full or enhanced fee / liliComplete other responsibilities as assigned / li / ulpMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements : / pulliEngineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience / liliField construction management experience (8-10 years, including supervisory skills) / liliLeadership ability / liliProblem-solving ability and strong sense of urgency / liliOrganizational and communication skills / liliDrafting and computer skills / liliFundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting / liliThorough understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating) / li / ulpSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer / ppAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
