Job Description
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient requirements and formulate individualized therapy approaches to help them reach their everyday goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize research-driven methodologies to improve patients' physical abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, compassionate care
  • Guide Patients and Families: Empower patients and their caregivers with education on treatment strategies to ensure continued progress at home
  • Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes meticulously and make necessary changes to treatment plans, keeping patients on their journey to recovery
Education
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and actively supported
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
