Position Overview :

Alta E&I is seeking an IT Manager responsible for overseeing its internal technology environment and serving as the primary liaison between the company and its third-party IT helpdesk provider, its phone network providers, and various other IT vendors. This role focuses on higher-level IT needs, strategic planning, system oversight, security, and ensuring that technology supports business operations efficiently, securely, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the internal owner of Alta E&I’s IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
• Develop and maintain an IT roadmap aligned with business needs, growth, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business managers to align IT strategy with organization objectives
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and vendors to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the third-party IT helpdesk provider.
• Oversee networks, servers, cloud services, hardware, and software environments.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and major changes with minimal business disruption.
• Conduct regular reviews of security practices and coordinate security training for employees.
• Provide advanced technical support for leadership and staff when issues exceed helpdesk scope.
• Establish and document IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and oversee lifecycle management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
