Basic communication skills (written and / or verbal). Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment and general warehouse procedures. Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee. Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials. Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely. Basic arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be willing to flex schedule to meet the needs of production, including working overtime or a different shift, if needed. Must be able to use a ladder to pick items or to retrieve boxes or materials.

Responsible for assembling various documents and / or customer provided materials into completed kits
Responsibilities :
- Perform pre-assembly duties such as; prepping boxes, stocking assembly area, gathering materials, and organizing work area
- Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work, collating materials as necessary
- Pick and package a variety of printed materials or related items that require a variety of packing procedures and techniques.
- Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping in accordance with customer specifications
- Count and sort inventory as required
- May prepare shipments of customer samples.
- Other duties as assigned

Additional Information
The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $14.56 / hour. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and / or stand-by pay.
