Position : VMware Engineer (W2)

Location : Remote

Clearance : Not required (some positions may require clearance)

Work Eligibility : U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holders

Salary Range : $110-130k DOE

Job Summary :

We are seeking mid-level VMware Engineers to join our team and support the design deployment and management of VMware virtualization solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware vSphere NSX vSAN and related technologies and will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining virtualized environments.

Responsibilities :

  • Install configure and support VMware vSphere (6.7 / 7.x / 8.x) NSX vSAN and related services.
  • Manage and optimize virtualized infrastructure including ESXi hosts virtual machines and storage solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve VMware environment issues ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell Python) for routine VMware operations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to implement virtualization projects.
  • Document VMware processes configurations and best practices.
  • Stay current with VMware technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure.

Qualifications :

  • 3 years of experience with VMware vSphere ESXi vCenter and related products.
  • Experience with NSX vSAN vRO and vRA is a plus.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell Python).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
