SRC's Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity for college students to obtain meaningful work experience through on-the-job training assignments.

Taking an active part in the design, development, integration, and testing of site projects
• Providing engineering support for technical problems and recommending a course of action
• Assisting senior engineers on complex problems, as assigned
• Reporting individual and group project status
• Developing and presenting a summer capstone project to division leadership
• May work across multiple programs in both a team environment and independently to perform their assigned tasks

• Searching for students majoring in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum of 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
• Interpersonal skills that augment performance within a team environment
• Professional communication skills to include interaction with engineering team members and management in informal and formal settings

• MatLab, Python, or C/C++ experience
• Experience in reviewing and evaluating design calculations and data from an engineering perspective
• Must be able to read design/construction drawings and be able to understand design narratives and calculations
• Technical writing skills to be applied in preparing manuals, parts lists, proposals and design documentation
