Janitorial / Maintenance

Overview

The Janitor/Maintenance Attendant plays an integral part in helping us keep our clubs looking shiny and new. Working with Club Leadership, the Janitor works to ensure that the club facility is kept clean, safe and sanitary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
• Assist with service to the members and guests, when required
• Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager
• Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Remain aware of club facility concerns including downed/broken equipment and building issues
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook
• Any additional tasks/projects as requested by management

Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Physical Requirements

• Lift 30 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend and squat with frequency
• Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed

Starting Hourly Wage: $16.82

• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). This requirement is in place to ensure that all employees have a basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of their roles effectively.
• To be eligible for employment at Fitness Ventures LLC applicants must be at least 18 years of age. This policy ensures compliance with applicable laws and helps maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States pursuant to both state and federal requirements, and maintain their eligibility to work in the United States throughout their employment. If an applicants eligibility changes at any time, the applicant must notify Fitness Ventures LLC immediately. Applicants must also provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. including the required documentation for e-Verification.
