As a Security Officer - Flex Commercial Patrol in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and tenants, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents as outlined in site procedures.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by the site.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support emergency preparedness plans and participate in drills or training sessions as required by the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
