Position Summary

The Department of Psychology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois is seeking to fill a part-time lecturer position for a graduate level course during the Summer 2026 quarter. Summer quarter runs from 05 / 26 / 2026 – 07 / 31 / 2026. The Summer course meets for 3 hours per week on campus with a 1.50 hour asynchronous component. Upon approval from the Department Chair, a small portion of the course time may be delivered via asynchronous assignments.

Brief course description is provided below :

• HPCC 601 Group Dynamics and Counseling (4.5 QH) This course reviews the primary theoretical approaches to group therapy / counseling. Students will learn when to apply different group therapy techniques and how to address individual differences within the group therapy context.

We seek an applicant with a doctoral degree in psychology who has past teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level. Individuals who have not yet attained a doctoral degree but have a master’s degree and extensive experience in the area may also be considered.
