Sr.Data Engineer

Overview

Alignment Health is a data- and technology-driven healthcare company focused on providing preventive, convenient, and coordinated care for seniors. The Data Services and BI team is growing, and this role will help build and operate a cloud-based data platform and its pipelines using big data technologies. The position supports the companys mission to drive better clinical outcomes and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with business customers, gathering requirements and developing new datasets in the data platform
• Building and migrating complex ETL pipelines from on?premise systems to cloud and Hadoop / Spark to enable elastic growth
• Identifying data quality issues and addressing them to ensure a great user experience
• Extracting and combining data from various heterogeneous data sources
• Designing, implementing and supporting a platform that provides ad-hoc access to large datasets
• Modeling data and metadata to support machine learning and AI
