Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driver in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment for clients and visitors. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity encountered during patrols within the financial institution environment.
  • Assist in managing access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and customers.
  • Document and communicate incidents, observations, and / or issues in accordance with site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
