12-hour Day Shift - weekend, holiday, and call required.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a skilled PACU RN with previous experience to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a high-pressure environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, the capability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively, and the ability to recognize safety issues and implement appropriate measures.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

Assess patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs.

Implement safe practices in patient handling using lifts and other equipment.

Function well under stress and apply problem-solving skills.

Provide quality patient care in a PACU setting.

Assume duties as a charge nurse when required.

\n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Current New York State RN license.

Previous PACU experience required.

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Minimum one year of medical / surgical experience preferred.

Preceptorship, charge, and leadership abilities preferred for experienced RNs.

Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills are necessary.
