A health services network in New York is currently seeking a new, licensed Psychiatrist for a great opportunity with their team in Rockland County. In this role, the Psychiatrist will be responsible fordiagnosing, treating, and preventing mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

About the Opportunity :

• Schedule : Monday to Friday

Hours : Standard business

Setting : Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

Responsibilities :

The Psychiatristwill :

Develop and implement treatment plans,including prescription of psychotropic medications

Monitor and evaluate treatment results

Provide psychotherapy,also known as talk therapy

Educate patients and their families about mental illness and treatment options

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

BoardCertified in Psychiatry
