SAP ABAP, Fiori, UI5 Developer

Rahway, NJ, USA-Onsite

Key Responsibilities :

Note : That this is an in-person role based out of Rahway, NJ

Job Skills and Key Responsibilities :

• Strong SAP ABAP+ knowledge on SCM, SD modules.
• Proficiency in SAPUI5, Web Dynpro, ABAP OOPS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and a strong understanding of Fiori design principles, ABAP, and OData.
• Experience with SAP tools like SAP Web IDE, SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Experience with SAP BTP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM).
• Proficiency in either Node.js or Java, including experience with Spring Framework for Java.
• Strong understanding of modern development principles, including object-oriented design and scalable application design.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of API design and development, particularly RESTful services and OData.
• Experience with data modeling and database design, including SAP HANA Cloud and CDS views.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and other development tools.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps principles is often required or a plus.
• Design, develop, and test user-friendly SAP Fiori and UI5 applications that integrate with backend SAP systems.
• Must lead and develop technical and business systems related activities of major significance to the client.
• Should have strong RICEFW development experience and should be able to work closely with Business Process teams, Domain Experts and Development teams to support and develop ABAP based technical solutions.
• Work with functional consultants / Business teams and understand the functional aspect of the requirement.
• Expertise in Web-service, RFCs, ALE / IDOCs, BTE, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs & Enhancement Framework.
• Handle diverse and complex assignments concurrently.
• Expertise in debugging and performance optimization of ABAP Programs.
• Should be able to work independently.
• Must have strong client facing experience.
• Ability to work with other functional and technical teams in a constructive and collaborative manner.
• Highly-developed oral and written communications skills for communicating with Business Process teams, ERP core teams, SMEs, Cross-functional teams and the Production Support teams.
• Excellent presentation skills.
