[job_card.job_description]Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical wiring, laundry, kitchen and bar equipment and pool equipment to make sure theyre operating efficiently and make any needed repairs that do not require licensed professionals Perform preventative maintenance throughout property including painting, and general upkeep. Maintain motel rooms and cabins; and refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms Maintain grounds ie mowing, trimming, blowing, etc Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed High school diploma / GED or equivalent with basic math skills Must be able to climb ladders, bend, twist, kneel, turn, lift up to 50lbs, stand, walk, drive a golf cart, and operate necessary tools to do job Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather At least 1-2 years of maintenance experience Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques Must have knowledge of safety protocols and adhere to them Available to be in a rotation for on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
