Position Overview

As a Kitchen Team Member Cook, Line Cook, or Prep Cook , youll be part of the heartbeat of Ladybird Taco. Youll prepare and cook delicious food, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and support your teammates in a fun, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Youll report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager , and live out our core values of being Caring, Humble, and Hungry every day.

What Youll Do

  • Prepare and cook tacos, sides, and proteins to Ladybird standards
  • Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures
  • Keep prep, line, and dish areas clean and organized
  • Restock and rotate ingredients throughout service
  • Communicate clearly with teammates to keep the line flowing
  • Receive and put away deliveries
  • Support the team wherever needed everyone pitches in

  • Detail-oriented and dependable in fast-paced settings
  • Comfortable working with kitchen tools and equipment
  • Familiar with or willing to learn proper food safety standards
  • Able to obtain a food handlers permit

    • Experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook is a plus but not required.

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Comfortable operating kitchen tools and equipment
  • Able to follow directions accurately and efficiently
  • Work safely around cleaning chemicals and hot equipment
