Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Equipment Operators for projects located in the Chapel Hill, NC area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-25 / hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an Equipment Operator eager to master your skills alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope :

Operate heavy equipment including Bobcat skid steer and mini excavator

Perform excavation and grading tasks for pond cleaning and site preparation

Assist with the installation of curb and gutter systems.

Lay and align underground piping according to project specifications

Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized worksite

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadline

Responsibilities

Proven experience operating Bobcat skid steer and mini excavator

Knowledge of construction site safety and equipment maintenance

  • Must have basic tools and standard PPE

Ability to read and interpret site plans and instructions

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and operate machinery

Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation is a plus

Experience with pond restoration or drainage systems

Familiarity with curb and gutter installation techniques

Pipe laying experience in residential or commercial projects
