Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and deliver specialized instructional plans for students with visual impairments.
• Adapt curriculum and learning materials to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to ensure prehensive support.
• Assess and monitor student progress to guide instructional decisions.
• Provide assistive technology training and consultation as needed.
• Promote independence and inclusion within the school environment.

Desired Qualifications :

Certification or credentials as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.

Experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments.

Strong munication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive educational strategies.

Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
