[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location. Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to help maintain authorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify potential security-related issues and / or unauthorized activity. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or violations according to site and Allied Universal protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns within the location. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
