As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points and conducting routine patrols. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate : $18.90 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 10 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 AM Sat 10 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to help maintain authorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify potential security-related issues and / or unauthorized activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or violations according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns within the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
