Job Title : Property Controller

Overview : We are looking for a highly skilled Controller to join a dynamic real estate investment company. This pivotal role will focus on overseeing property accounting operations, enhancing processes and controls, and building a high-performing team. The Controller will work cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency, leverage technology for better decision-making, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely property accounting operations
• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to establish robust accounting processes, performance metrics, and internal controls
• Manage property accounting systems and banking platforms, ensuring efficiency and alignment with best practices
• Oversee general ledger, sub-ledgers, CAM, budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting deliverables; review and approve all outputs
• Facilitate collaboration between corporate accounting, property accounting, asset management, leasing, construction, and valuation teams to drive alignment and operational effectiveness
• Guide process improvements, implement new technologies, and deliver training to enhance team performance and workflow efficiency
• Supervise treasury functions and support internal and external audit processes, maintaining the highest standards of compliance

Qualifications :

PAY TRANSPARENCY : The estimated {annual or hourly} pay range for this position is $170k - $190k + bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by the hiring authority and may vary depending on qualifications and other factors relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
