Sales Associate

The Tempur-Pedic sales associate's primary responsibility is to provide excellence in customer service while selling and marketing Tempur-Pedic products. In addition, this individual will serve as a member of management when the Store Manager is not available. This could include opening and/or closing the store as well as covering the management duties.

Pay Range: The total estimated annual compensation, including base pay and incentives, is $ 40,000 - $ 60,000.

WhatYou'llDo (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

• Assistin managing andmaintainingresponsibility for the overall performance of the store.

• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care,maintaininga professional appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures,and inmaintainingTempur Sealy's brand.

• Continue to perform all the Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.

• Assist the Store Manager inidentifyingdeficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.

• Assistthe store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.

• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

WhatYou'llNeed (Qualifications):

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-3 years' retail experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with high-end luxury and/or custom products

• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.

• Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards

• Demonstratedcollaboratorable to both lead and follow.

• Flexibility in work schedulereflectingthe needs and patterns of store hours.

• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems

• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and occasionallyliftingitems with or withoutassistance.
