This is a Perishable Distribution Center with Floral, Meat and Produce products. Temps range from 10 (freezer) to 46 degrees (including a banana and avocado ripening room!). Base Pay : see bottom of page for wage range. Incentives : $200 8 Week training completion bonus! $1000 milestone bonus! $500 @ 6 and 12 months $1,100 a month potential based on productivity and accuracy. Shift : 10 : 30 AM shift start time, will work to completion, and have a rotating 4-day / 10-hour workweeks including weekends and holidays. Schedules are subject to change (provided 3 weeks in advance). / ph3Job Requirements and Basic Qualifications : / h3ulliUse voice-based order system to select and palletize store orders / liliManually stacking product onto pallets, wrapping, and preparing product for shipment. / liliRespect all Good Organics compliances when stacking product / liliOperating an electric / motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) / liliAssist in cleaning the warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment / liliComply with all applicable health and safety codes / liliCommunicate and maintain employee safety and security standards / liliArrive to work on time, wear appropriate PPE, work all scheduled shifts, complete required trainings and attend required meetings. / liliAbility to read and speak basic English / liliPerform other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Facility Leadership. / li / ulh3Skills / Requirements and Professional Knowledge : / h3ulliExperience working with an electric / motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) / liliExperience with voice systems a plus / liliTeam-player with positive attitude / liliStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. / liliAble to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision / li / ulh3Working Conditions and Physical Requirements : / h3ulliAbility to stand or walk at least 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation / liliMust be able to lift 50 lbs, Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs (team lift suggested for weights in excess of 70 lbs) / li / ulpWork in a cold / wet storage facility environment (ranging from -10 (freezer) to 55 degrees Fahrenheit). General warehouse temps 34-46 degrees, Freezer -10 degrees. Regularly getting on and off powered equipment, stepping on and off throughout shift. Hand use : single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Ability to use tools and equipment, including safety box cutters, electric pallet jacks and voice equipment. Must adhere to company dress code and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Availability Requirements : Average shifts are 8-10 hours long. Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
