Machine Operator

Base Pay Starts at $16.25 per hour

Work Schedule : 7 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm - Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting punching forming blocking and processing operations. They must have a thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality-building components and parts.

Machine Operators perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch / warehouse their day-to-day duties they operate a forklift overhead crane and construction tools.

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely accurately timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials products machinery tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
• Ability to set-up and operate machinery and equipment to cut punch form or paint quality finished or semi-finished parts
• Perform routine preventive maintenance adjustments and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation
• Interprets blueprints specifications and other technical data to select the correct raw material or semi-finished parts
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
