JOB INFORMATION:
Job Title: Financial Systems Administrator Department(s): 5070 - Finance Location(s): Hutchinson Island FLSA Status: Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Finance, the Financial Systems Administrator serves as a lead and technical expert in the area of system administration and is responsible for the optimal implementation, support, security, and management of all institution-wide financial information management systems. The selected candidate will work on highly prioritized and visible efforts that will optimize and modernize existing processes and flows. This position will be responsible for leading the implementation of an ERP Solution.

JOB DUTIES:

• Work with Finance Leadership, organizational partners, and stakeholders to assess and define system requirements to meet core functionality and key business objectives
• Responsibility for secure administration of our ERP Finance Systems
• Responsibility for all business process configurations, testing, and deployment for our ERP-Finance systems, while ensuring data integrity
• Responsible for working within the IT Services department, finance team stakeholders, maintenance, and external consultants on upgrades, implementations, and maintenance of financial systems
• Leveraging the ERP system, refine existing processes, and identify ways for the Finance organization to automate processes for all systems currently used (Concur, ADP Payroll Platform, Navis4)
• Partnering with cross-functional teams from Accounting, Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, and directors ensuring accurate utilization of ERP modules
• Proactively maintain the ERP data integrity through audits and queries
• Providing ERP support for the accounting and finance department. Build and prepare data sets, statistical and data reports, and applications to support finance and accounting, executives and other department managers, as needed
• Be the institution-wide subject matter expert pertaining to all automated financial and accounting information systems
• Design, configure, and test integrations between the financial system and all other external systems
• Stay abreast of industry changes, continuously seeking improvement opportunities and policy changes to enhance efficiency and user experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
The ability to analyze problems and take initiative to resolve issues or problems is desired.Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills required.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with the GPA staff on all levels as well as members of the shipping industry and the general public.
Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant ERP configuration/support experience
• 4-6 years professional experience in the implementation of ERP-Finance Systems

Education

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Technology, or Engineering

Licenses & Certifications

• TWIC - Transportation Worker Identification Credential Required Upon Hire
• Driver's License - Valid state driver's license Required Upon Hire
