Job Description Apache Druid Support Engineer
Location : Irving, TX (Onsite)
Client : Reputed
Rate : DOE.
Client is seeking a highly skilled Apache Druid Support Engineer with strong platform engineering and operations expertise. This role involves managing on-prem Druid clusters, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless integration across the data ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain on-prem Apache Druid clusters .
- Monitor cluster health & performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
- Optimize Druid queries, ingestion specs, and data pipelines in collaboration with analytics teams.
- Integrate Druid with systems such as Kafka, Spark, BigQuery , and other GCP components.
- Implement and maintain CI / CD and automated deployment pipelines for Druid.
- Perform Druid operations including configuration, installation, upgrades, and patching.
- Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts , automation tools, and monitoring dashboards.
- Manage observability tools : Prometheus, Grafana .
- Work with ancillary systems : GKE, MySQL, GitLab, Airflow .
