Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate : $17.00

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Property Clerk reports to the Property Supervisor and is an hourly non-exempt position.
  • The Property Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the property / inventory control functions.
  • Ensures that center equipment and supplies are ordered received and distributed.
  • The Property Clerk posts and maintains shipping receiving inventory records and documents in accordance with center and DOL regulations.
  • Arranges for disposition of excess materials in accordance with procedures as stated in the Property Handbook.
  • Monitors the procurement of supplies materials and equipment for General Services Administration self-service store and other vendors.
  • Monitors maintenance of accurate records on the physical location of all center property.
  • Attends required staff training sessions.

    • Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in property / inventory control preferred.
  • Valid State drivers license in the state of employment with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
  • Sound working knowledge of property / inventory control procedures. Knowledge of Government property management requirements and procedures desired.
