Join us in our growth journey as we seek experienced ODOT Prequalified Asphalt Lab Technicians for the 2026 season to help shape the future of our projects in ODOT in District 8 near Cincinnati. District 8 includes Preble, Butler, Hamilton, Warren, Clermont, Greene, and Clinton counties.

Key Responsibilities

• Key responsibilities

Material testing : Conduct standardized tests on asphalt and aggregate samples to determine properties like specific gravity, air voids, and gradation.

Safety and compliance : Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Sample handling : Collect, prepare, and organize samples of asphalt, aggregates, and other construction materials.

Field and lab work : Perform some field testing, such as density checks on newly paved sections, and assist engineers as needed.
