EL2 Data Analyst Actuary

Our client is a federal government body and is seeking two Data Analyst Actuary to join their team. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be based in the clients' Richmond or Dandenong office. This will be a 12-month contract with a hybrid work arrangement to be in the office and 2 days WFH.

The role :

• This will be a team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.
• The role is required to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the team membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.
• The position will apply a significant understanding of the clients' functions to provide high level of advice to senior management, Executive Leadership Team, and the Board. It is responsible for influencing and developing strategy, policies, priorities, and operational practices in support of the clients' objectives.
• The role will exercise a significant degree of independence and will use a high-level of decision-making and judgement and will be required to coordinate and assume responsibility for highly complex or sensitive projects and work program outcomes across functions that have strategic or operational significance
