As an Outdoor Sales Consultant at TruGreen, you will be the friendly face in the community, engaging with homeowners to showcase the advantages of our personalized lawn care solutions. Equipped with enthusiasm and a passion for delivering exceptional service, you'll be part of our successful sales strategy, transforming casual interactions into lasting customer partnerships.

Your Role - You'll represent TruGreen by connecting directly with homeowners, understanding their needs, and offering tailored lawn care services that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day provides a new chance to connect, educate, and grow our business.

Engage with potential and current customers through door-to-door outreach, bringing professionalism and positivity to every interaction.

Tailor your sales approach to meet the unique lawn care needs of each household, recognizing that each customer and their yard is distinctive.

Utilize proven sales methodologies to effectively convert inquiries into signed agreements.

Document interactions and track your performance using a CRM system to measure your activity and results, because follow-through is vital.

Cross-sell and upsell with confidence, demonstrating how customers can enhance their outdoor spaces with your expertise.

What You Need - No need for a green thumb, just strong determination and excellent interpersonal skills to convert every doorstep into a potential sale.

High school diploma or GED is required; excellent people skills are a must.

Previous sales or customer service experience is beneficial, but enthusiasm and dedication can be even more impactful.

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are necessary; reliability on the road is essential.

Strong communication skills for engaging conversations—whether you’re making small talk or closing a deal, clarity and sincerity are key.

Effective time management and self-motivation; you are proactive and prefer not to be told what to do.

Comfort with technology and mobile devices is important—you won’t need programming skills, just basic operational know-how.

Physical capability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed while working outdoors.
