As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, respond to situations as needed, and interact with clients and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed post, where you will uphold Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence while armed as required by the post profile.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access and support site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any unusual activities observed during shifts.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency responders as needed in accordance with site protocols.
  • Remain attentive to environmental and operational conditions within the location that may require additional security-related attention.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
