Director of Bands
Providence Christian Academy is seeking to hire an Upper School Director of Bands. This position is full time with benefits. Key responsibilities are to teach instrumental music, conduct rehearsals, cultivate musical talent, and collaborate with the music department academy wide in preparation for school performances and events. Additional responsibilities include directing extracurricular ensembles such as Jazz Band and Pep Band. Qualified candidates must create a safe, nurturing, spiritually-based learning environment for students during instruction and be willing to uphold and enforce the school's policies and procedures. Must teach using valid techniques according to the school's classical and Christian philosophy and candidates must also affirm and adhere to Providence Christian Academy's Statement of Faith.
