- GENERAL SUMMARY
- The Occupational Health RN provides nursing care and health services to employees through a comprehensive occupational health program. Travel to offsite facilities required. Reports to the manager or director of occupational health staff.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, develops and organizes services and activities to support the organizational mission.
- Seeks guidance from management when necessary.
- Demonstrates accountability for daily operations of program.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Assists with departmental performance improvement initiatives.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
- LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
- Current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license
- MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program preferred.
- At least two years of RN work experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must have valid driver's license with a good driving record and meet insurance requirements of the organization.
- HCP CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
- WORKING CONDITIONS
- Normal clinical office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
