Entry Level Recruiter (Accounting & Finance)
This client is a high-growth staffing firm in Midtown Manhattan that is doubling their headcount year by year and is now building out a dedicated Accounting & Finance permanent placement desk . This is an in-office, hands-on training environment designed for someone early in their career who wants to learn the craft quickly, earn well, and grow into leadership.
You will focus on mid-to-senior Accounting & Finance placements, especially Controllers and Accounting Manager s, and you’ll be trained directly on a proven, repeatable process.
What you’ll do :
- Run a full-cycle permanent placement desk focused on Controller / Accounting Manager-level searches
- Source, screen, and qualify A&F candidates; manage pipelines and process end-to-end
- Build candidate relationships and deliver a high-touch experience (speed + quality)
- Learn and execute a proven recruiting playbook (you’ll be coached closely)
- Use modern tools to drive activity and outcomes : LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, CareerBuilder, Indeed, and more.
- Grow into leadership responsibilities as performance and readiness align
What they're looking for
0–2 years of experience (staffing / recruiting, sales, client-facing, a&f or high-activity environments are a plus)Interest in Accounting & Finance recruiting (and comfort learning the language of A&F roles)Coachable, competitive, and consistent, someone who wants a clear path and is willing to do the work.Strong communication skills, good judgment, and high attention to detail.Comfortable working onsite in NYC 5 days per weekCompensation & Incentives :
