Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring production efficiency, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong background in process manufacturing and tool design, as well as hands-on experience in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Create and review tool designs to support efficient production operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on production goals and standards.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for non-conformance resolution.
- Manage projects related to manufacturing process development and efficiency improvements.
- Conduct training for production staff on new processes and technologies.
- Utilize 3D Solid Modeling software, such as Solid Works, for design and simulation purposes.
- Document processes and maintain records in compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process manufacturing and tool design principles.
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics systems.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing techniques and principles.
- Proven track record in manufacturing process development and production efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading projects in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and 3D Solid Modeling software.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

- Upon 6 months of employment 1 week

- 5 - 14 years of employment 3 weeks
- 15 years and thereafter 4 weeks
- 4 hours of sick time is accrued on the first day of each month up to a maximum of 40 hours per year. If at any time your current accrual balance is at 40 hours, new accruals will flow over into your Extended Leave benefit.
- Extended Leave may be accrued up to an unlimited amount of hours for the purpose of extended sick time needed for 5 or more consecutive days.
