Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk

In this position, you will serve City Wide Facility Solutions - Wichita as one of more than 70 markets covered across the United States and Canada. We're growing nationally and locally, so we are looking to expand our team with the addition of an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk. This role will be a full-time position working at our location in Wichita, KS, to support our day-to-day operations.

Essential functions

• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Customer invoicing
• Setup new customers, contracts, vendors, and contractors
• Create reports
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the accounting department
• Welcome guests and answer multi line phones at the front desk
• Payables / Receivables exp. needed

*Hourly rate will be determined by level of experience

This position is ad-hoc and may change slightly day to day.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a bookkeeping environment
• Customer Oriented - Ability to care for customers' needs while following company procedures.
• Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
• Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
• QuickBooks, Outlook, Excel, and automated accounting software experience required
• Written and oral communication skills
• Microsoft Office computer skills
