It Manager Position

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and enhance our company's technology operations in Stamford, Connecticut. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage IT infrastructure, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and drive innovative solutions to meet business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to optimizing IT processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Direct daily IT operations to ensure optimal performance and reliability of systems and networks.
  • Supervise and guide a team of IT professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
  • Design and implement IT policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives.
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and mitigating risks.
  • Manage backup and recovery processes to maintain data integrity and business continuity.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, including contract management and service-level agreements.
  • Plan and execute IT projects such as system upgrades, technology migrations, and implementations.
  • Monitor IT performance metrics and report key findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the company's IT infrastructure remains scalable, secure, and efficient.
  • Advocate for innovative technologies to enhance business processes and outcomes.

Requirements :

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT management or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of backup technologies and infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in server and desktop virtualization tools.
  • Strong expertise in network infrastructure and management tools.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware and configuration management.
  • Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess IT performance and propose improvements.
